I’m so sick of giving and giving and giving and other-serving, empathizing, feeling other people’s pain…is it ok that I want to move away from this and consider meeting my own needs and wants first and foremost? Is it ok to be self-indulgent?
it’s especially disheartening because compassion is too often taken for granted and taken advantage of. I almost feel like being compassionate is being naive.

Download video from animemusicvideos.org: www.animemusicvideos.org It’s been quite a few months since I last composed an AMV, but that’s not to say that I’ve been idle in the interim – I’ve been investing my effort in creating clips for the AMV Minis series and the upcoming AMV Hell 5, and if you’re a follower of them you’ll have seen some of y work under the name “Robert Frazer”. Sora No Woto, or Sound of the Skies as it’ll be called when it (hopefully) gets licensed, was a very affecting anime and one of the most consistently enjoyable that I’ve seen in recent years. Sumptuous art, a delectable soundtrack, a decently different setting which broke out of the “K-ON! at war” mould which some people unfairly tarred the show as, a positive Aladdin’s cave of references for detail-hunters, and a well-posed balance between fluff and crunch in the exchange between daily incidents and a gradually-unfolding plot. This AMV has been created first and foremost as a positive celebration of the show. The AMV is made in a light-hearted and gently humorous spirit. The theme of Sora No Woto, while not necessarily pacifistic, nonetheless sees the outbreak of new fighting as a failure to avoid – however, I’ve made it fit into a jingoistic hymn to the thrill of war, death, and glory! It’s an odd juxtaposition (perhaps best expressed in the first thirty seconds – in the anime, the character is declaring peace, but here she’s calling up fresh soldiers!) which should raise a chuckle from …

I had at least 2 cheap speedometers. They both worked fine but if you keep the battery in for over an hour, the LCD will go dim and it won’t come back on until you take out the battery but that also clear all data. Does the better speedometer able to handle this problem? And which is a fairly good speedometer and doesn’t cost too much?

Cateye makes some of the most reliable computers out there. I’ve tried others, but they’ve been better, although they don’t ave some of the fancy features of others.

First and foremost: does one exist? Something that can be successfully synced with iTunes and iTunes bought music?

And if so, does anyone have any suggestions? I’m REALLY tired of using the Apple iPod and want some variation in my life instead of just trying out a new version.

Keep in mind I’m looking for a 30GB + player.

Check your local used car dealer.

A $ 7000 budget will likely put you into the 5 year old cars with 40-50,000 miles on them. That’s assuming you’re looking for something like a Honda Civic, Accord, Focus, Taurus, Camry-generic cars that go from A to B.

I’ve been using a black rubber on on my Nano, but there are several problems. First and foremost, there is nothing protecting the highly breakable screen, which is now scratched to oblivion. Secondly, it rubs against the black body of the Nano and leaves these little blotches everywhere that I just can’t get off. Does anyone have any suggestions for something that adequately protects my Nano while still staying small, non-bulky, and inexpensive?

I’m 19 years old… and a female… foremost.. im not asking how to become an actor.. i’m asking what are things I should do to help my acting and my emotions. I haven’t taken any classes yet I definately will in the FALL.. but in the mean time is there anything I can do on my own this summer? What are good books I should read.. is there anything like “Acting for dummies” hehe.. lol just kidding.

Believe it or not, there’s a book called Breaking Into Acting For Dummies! LOL! OK, seriously get your hands on Audition by Michael Shurtleff. It’s the standard of all acting books :-) A lot of people like books by Uta Hagen, Sanford Meisner, & Constantin Stanislavski. These are all different takes on methods so it will depends on what appeals to you. I had one acting teacher that swore by studying the works of Harold Pinter you could become a better actor… Her methods were different to say the least, but there must have been something to it :-) I say gather what you can from the library and see what appeals to you right off the bat and go with it.

I’m glad to hear that you are taking classes in the fall, because there’s nothing better than actually acting. Could you possibly get into some local theatre now? Maybe a workshop? For bringing out your emotions, you need others to play off of so being in classes or doing a show will be the best possible things for you.

In any case, break a leg ;-)

I play for my local golf team and I’m looking to buy a new set. Currently I play with a cheap Foremost set that I bought 4 years ago. The Max i want to spend is $ 300. I average around a 100 everytime I play with the best I ever shot being an 89 with my current set. However, when I played with an old Nike set of my uncle’s I shot an 84. Do clubs really matter? and Which under $ 300 would u reccommend.

Certainly not. The Fed is controlled by a Board of just 5 people, of whom only Ben Bernanke is known to the outside world at all prominently. To give these people such immense power over the world’s foremost financial institution is strange, isn’t it?
The better way would be to curtail the size of private financial institutions so none is “too big to be allowed to fail”.

This is so wrong.. this country is based on the fact that voters, all voters get a say.. and we should be able to go to Washington any time we want and be heard… Obama is trying to turn this country into a communist state.. where we will just have to shut up and he will call the shots.. all for our own good of course.

This upstart has it in his mind that he and only he knows what is best for this country…he wasn’t even a good senator.. I don’t know why he thinks he will be president Superman! Disgusting!

Right now i am using “EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Free Edition 5.0.1″ I left the PC on for two nights it’s taking way to long. I can’t leave it on any more due to my mother is back home now. The files I lost are on my portable hard drive. The files I need are music, docs. I would like ALL my files back but I need something that can do it in less then 10 hours.

This coworker and friend I have is an over all great mom,friend wife and coworker! she is very religious(christian) and compassionate, but yesterday she said something that bothered me a lot! we where talking about a gun shot victim! I said that over 140000 ppl in the USA get shot and/or die by guns,and she said that that is nothing but a drop in the bucket , as long as we have and prserve the right to carry guns bcause it is our only defence! now usualy I don’t pay attention to this ,but this is a friend I thought I had ,a friend with compassion! I was wrong and it bothers me a great deal!

2 questions!

1) she told me that most ppl in their church carry guns! why are christians soooo afraid that they have to have guns and 14000 ppl are just a drop in the bucket!

2) this bothered me sooo much that I see her and I go the other way! I loved that girl! very good friends before this whole thing! what do I do?

I have tried to search around but i have seen only demos that at the end you have to pay to recover your data, the softwares work fine and i can see the data in my sd card but i don;t want to pay. If anyone has a program and can pass me the activation code that would be great :-)

You can try Windows Home server, they have sorted out all the bugs they had in their initial release, you can try to install Windows Home server with Power pack 3 or else you can also use NAS.
